Quietly present. Occasionally helpful.

Meet Incus.

Incus is the armored alpaca–llama who turns up around Incan when something deserves a closer look—or when a successful build deserves a quiet celebration.

He is not the product, the documentation narrator, or the hero of every screen. He is an Easter egg: a little warmth and personality tucked around a language and toolchain that still take their work seriously.

The system works. Incus brought something to celebrate.

Incapunk, in character

Incus belongs to the Incapunk visual language: an Incan-inspired, futuristic style built from dark graphite surfaces, forged gold structure, and controlled cyan light. The character keeps that same balance—distinctive without becoming noisy.

FormStylized alpaca–llama

A long, readable silhouette with dark tan fur and no white mane.

ArmorGold over a dark underlayer

Metal should read as metal, with cyan seams and a circular illuminated core.

TemperamentCalm, observant, capable

Curious and occasionally mischievous, but never frantic or cartoonish.

HabitatThe edges of the system

First runs, hints, warnings, completed tasks, and corners worth inspecting.

If you spot him

Incus appears when the documentation changes mode: a useful hint, a Python or Rust mental-model bridge, a composed failure, or a small moment of success. Different poses may appear over time, but the context should always make sense.

The character stays constant. Meaning comes from what he is doing.

The rule

If Incus is the first thing you notice, we probably used him too loudly.

The page should still work without him. Incus rewards attention; he does not demand it.
